How the spout works
The soft, straw-style spout opens when your baby bites or squeezes it. There's no valve, so there's nothing to suck against — but it also won't leak when it's upside down in a bag, which is exactly what you want when you're out of the house.

Does this cup have a non-spill valve?
No. The spout opens when bitten or squeezed, so your baby isn't sucking against a valve — but it won't pour out on its own either.
What's the difference between the two versions?
The cup is identical. “With Snack Lid” simply includes an extra lid that converts it into a snack pot.
Can I buy the snack lid separately later?
The snack lid only comes as part of the 2-in-1, so it's worth choosing that version if you think you'll use it.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes — both lids and the cup.
