Taupe Gift Set - Organic Rattle + Comforter

Taupe Gift Set — a bunny rattle and a matching comforter, boxed and ready to give

A soft bunny rattle and a matching taupe comforter in a beautifully illustrated, reusable gift box, 26 x 26 x 6cm. The comforter has a linen underside and a pom pom at each corner. Made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, as stated by ThreadBear. Suitable from birth, designed in the UK by ThreadBear Design.

🐰 Two things a newborn can actually use

Most new-baby presents are for a baby a few months off. These are useful in week one. The comforter is flat and light, and newborns can close a fist round its pom poms long before they can grip anything else. The rattle comes a little later: a soft, gentle sound when it moves, which is the first taste of "I did that, and something happened".

🧶 Knit on top, linen underneath

The comforter changes when you turn it over. Soft knit on one side, smoother linen on the other. For a baby who is still finding out what things feel like, one object with two different surfaces is worth more than two that feel the same.

🎁 It arrives looking like a present

The illustrated box means there is nothing to wrap, and it is good enough to keep. A lovely choice for a baby shower or a christening. The same set comes in cream too.

⚠️ Worth knowing before you buy

• A comforter is not for sleep yet. Keep it out of the cot until around 12 months; it is for cuddles, feeds and pram time while you are there.
• Hand wash only. Both pieces are hand wash only, so wash them gently by hand and dry them flat.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Can the comforter go in the cot?
Not for a young baby. Safer sleep guidance is to keep the cot clear until around 12 months, so the comforter is for feeds, cuddles and pram time while you are with them.

How do I wash it?
Hand wash only, for both the rattle and the comforter, then let them dry flat.

Cream or taupe?
The two sets are the same pairing. Cream is the lighter, classic new-baby neutral; taupe is warmer and a little darker, and shows marks less.

Can I buy the comforter on its own?
Yes, the Cream Bunny Organic Comforter is sold separately.
