A beautiful hardwood set of tactile counters, our TickiT Touch & Match Board can be used as a sensory game or to encourage language skills and learning through play.
In the TickiT Touch & Match Board, each counter has a different textured top surface. Can you match the smooth surface with another smooth surface? How many counters feel fuzzy?
Encourages fine motor skills, helps develop descriptive language, and the board allows the counters to be stored neatly.
Supports the following areas of learning:
Personal Development - sensory
Physical Development - motor skills
Communication & Language - descriptive language
SEND - sensory stimulation
SEND - reasoning
Set includes: 12 wooden counters and wooden board.
Size: Board L 22cm x W 17cm. Counters 3.5cm diameter.
I bought this to use as a therapy tool to support neuro patients with reduced or altered sensation. I like the fact it doesn’t look like a baby toy and also that it can be used for upper limb therapy.
Hi Kerry, thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad the TickiT Touch & Match Board is helpful for your therapy work. Wishing you continued success! Neil @ For the Baby
