Two things differ: he has no jumper, and the brand name on his label has been blacked out, because he was destined for a range he never joined. Why is the name blacked out on the label?
He was made for an own-brand range he never ended up in, so the name has been obscured. It's a labelling matter, not a fault. The safety certification, the materials and the age rating are all unaffected.

Is he a second, or damaged?
No. He's a first-quality toy that arrived without the jumper he was supposed to wear. That's the whole story, and it's the only reason he's cheaper.

How big is he?
24cm nose to tail — the same length as our knitted sausage dogs. An armful for a toddler, and small enough to pack.

What age is he for?
From birth. UKCA and CE certified, with nothing rigid to work loose — and plenty go to adults who simply like dachshunds.

Can he be washed?
Machine washable at 30°C or below. Dry him naturally rather than in a tumble dryer so the tweed keeps its shape.

Does he make any noise?
No rattle, no squeaker, no batteries.

Will you get more?
Unlikely. This was a single batch, so treat him as a limited edition rather than something to come back for.

Does he make a good gift?
