🔨 What it builds at each age

At 18 months to two, it is all hammering: hit the peg, it goes down, do it again. That is cause and effect, and gross motor skills. From two to three, the screwdriver and bolts come in, which is precise finger work, the same grip they will later use for a pencil. From three, it becomes role play: builder, mechanic, maker, with a running commentary.

All 16 pieces go back into the bench, so the set stays together and the floor stays clear.
