Pull Along Friends (Rainbow/Cloud)

Pull Along Rainbow and Cloud — a wooden pull-along for first steps, with a cloud that comes off

A wooden rainbow on chunky wheels to pull along behind first steps on a 68cm cord, with a baby cloud that unclips and can be pushed along on its own. Soft pastel colours from the jumini Baby range, around 300g, designed in the UK and CE and UKCA marked. Suitable from 1 year.

🚶 Why a pull-along for new walkers

Once a toddler is up and walking, a pull-along gives them a reason to keep going. They walk, look back, see it following, and walk again — and every few steps they practise balancing while turning their head, which is harder than it looks. It is the classic first-walker toy for good reason.

☁️ Two toys in one

The baby cloud detaches from the rainbow and becomes a little push-along of its own. That makes it a toy for two stages: the cloud to push while your child is still crawling or cruising, and the whole rainbow to pull once they are walking. It also gives siblings, or a toddler and a grown-up, one each.

⚠️ Worth knowing before you buy

• There is a pull cord. At about 68cm, it is for supervised play on the floor. It should not go in a cot or a playpen, or be left with a child on their own. Wrap the cord round the toy when it is put away.
• Pulling comes with walking. Before walking, the detachable cloud is the part that gets played with — the rainbow comes into its own once your child is on their feet.
• Painted wood is wipe-clean only. A damp cloth, never a soak.

❓ Frequently asked questions

Is the cord safe?
It is fine for supervised play on the floor, which is what pull-alongs are for. Keep it out of cots and playpens, never leave a child alone with it, and wrap the cord up when it is put away.

How long is the cord?
About 68cm — long enough for the rainbow to trail a step or so behind a new walker, so they can look back and see it following.

What does the cloud do?
It unclips from the rainbow and can be pushed along on its own — handy before your child is walking, or for sharing.

How do I clean it?
Wipe with a damp cloth. Painted wood should not be soaked.

Does it make a good gift?
Yes — a lovely first-birthday present, timed nicely for first steps.
