❓ Frequently asked questions

Can they go in the bath?
We'd keep them out of it. The squeak needs a tiny air hole, and any toy with a hole can take in water that then can't dry out inside. For bath time, our Mould Free Silicone Bath Toys are a better choice. They open in two, so you can wash and dry them inside.

Are they safe to chew?
Yes. They're food-grade, BPA-free silicone, soft enough for sore gums and made to be mouthed.

What age are they for?
From 6 months. The first months are all about chewing and squeezing. Stacking usually clicks somewhere after a year, and counting and naming shapes comes later still.

Will they stack as well as wooden blocks?
Not as high. Soft blocks give a little under weight, so towers are shorter and wobblier. At this age that's a feature: they fall without hurting anyone.

Do they need washing first?
Yes, give them a wash before first use. New silicone can smell faintly of the factory, and that washes out.

Do they make a good gift?
Yes, for a baby around six months old. They're one of the few toys that are still in use a couple of years later.
