Made for the very start

Suitable from birth, so he can join the routine from week one. The outer is soft, breathable 100% organic cotton — hypoallergenic and gentle on delicate newborn skin — in a calm grey that suits any nursery. Inside, he's filled with 100% recycled polyester, so all that snuggling comes with a lighter footprint.

And he's finished with a dapper blue bow tie, because there's no reason a comfort toy shouldn't have a bit of style about him.

Why the lullaby works

Brahms' Lullaby has been settling babies for well over a century, and there's a good reason it stuck: it's slow, repetitive and predictable, which is precisely what a tired little brain needs. Play it at the same point every evening and it quickly becomes a sleep cue all of its own — your baby hears the first few notes and starts winding down before you've even reached the cot.

The wooden ring pull

The pull is FSC-certified beech wood from responsibly managed forests — smooth, natural and properly durable. It's a lovely contrast against the soft cotton, and that difference in texture is genuinely interesting to a baby: something firm to grip and mouth, attached to something soft to hold.

Later on it becomes a game in its own right. Pull it, hear the tune, wait, pull it again. That's cause and effect landing — one of the first big ideas a baby works out for themselves.
