Jumini Xylophone – 7-Key Wooden Instrument in Blue or Pink | 12m+

Jumini Xylophone — seven solid wood keys, one mallet, and roughly nine hundred encores

Seven solid wood keys, each with its own clear note, a solid wood mallet made for a small determined fist, and a solid wood frame — 30 x 15.5 x 3cm and 200g. In a calm pastel blue or a soft blush pink, gift-ready and UKCA and CE marked. Suitable from 1 year.

🎹 Why one year is the moment

Somewhere around the first birthday, tapping stops being accidental. A xylophone gives that instinct somewhere proper to go — instead of spoon-on-radiator, you get something that sounds like music, or near enough by the fourth attempt. Lining a mallet up with a narrow key takes focus and a steady hand, and before long they notice that this key sounds different from that one. That is early musical thinking, arriving entirely on its own.

🌈 Two colours, same lovely notes

Choose pastel blue or blush pink. Both use the subtle, slightly retro tones of the jumini range rather than shouty primaries — soft enough that neither reads as a "boy" or "girl" toy, and handsome enough to leave out on a shelf.

⚠️ Worth knowing before you buy

• It comes with one mallet. Toddlers sometimes like a beater in each hand — a wooden spoon makes a fine second.
• It is a proper toddler xylophone, not a tuned instrument. Seven clear, distinct notes — perfect for play, not for music lessons.
• Wood is wipe-clean only. A damp cloth, never a soak.
