Round Silicone Suction Bowl with 3 Compartments β round, so a spoon gets in from any angle
One 300ml section and two 100ml sections, 500ml in total, on a suction base that grips a smooth tray. 21cm across including the side handles, 17cm deep, 5.5cm tall, 229g. Food-grade platinum silicone, three colours, suitable from 6 months.
π Why round matters for a baby doing the scooping
A square section has corners, and a corner is where food goes to hide from a spoon. Round sections have no corner to get stuck in, so a baby pushing a spoon round the edge collects what is there instead of leaving a stubborn triangle of porridge behind. At 5.5cm tall it is also shallow, which means they can see into it β the two things together are what make this the self-feeding bowl of the six.
That is the whole case for this bowl, and it is a good one. Our square three-section bowl holds exactly the same 500ml and trades the cornerless sections for a smaller footprint and the ability to stack flat in a fridge.
π½οΈ One main, two sides, no extra washing up
300ml for the substantial part, 100ml and 100ml for a vegetable and something soft to scoop with. That is 500ml in total, more than any of our single-section bowls holds. The dividers are deep enough to keep foods genuinely separate rather than notionally so, which matters with a toddler who has strong views about things touching. Worth knowing: the sections are open at the top, as on every divided bowl, so very runny food will find its way between them if the bowl is tilted.
π€² Side handles, for you rather than them
The handles are not really for the baby β they are for lifting a full bowl off a tray without tipping it down your arm, and for carrying it from high chair to table. Small thing, used every meal.
β¨οΈ Oven, microwave, freezer, dishwasher β the whole range
Every silicone plate and bowl we sell is marked oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. If you bake small portions β a bit of frittata, something set in the oven β it goes in the same dish it is served from, and the same bowl handles batch cooking, freezing, warming and washing without warping or clouding. The non-porous surface holds no smell.
π¬ What we have actually had tested
Our silicone plates and bowls were tested as finished products to EN 14372:2004, the European standard written specifically for children's feeding utensils, across 15 samples covering 13 colours β migration of elements, phthalate content, volatile compounds, formaldehyde release and bisphenol A release, with nothing detected.
A bowl from the range was separately tested by Eurofins against LFGB Sections 30 and 31, the German food-contact standard and among the strictest anywhere. It passed overall migration, peroxide value and volatile organic matter testing, bisphenol A was not detected, and a sensory panel confirmed no perceptible odour or taste passing into food. Every plate and bowl we sell is the same food-grade platinum silicone from the same supplier.
We publish the reports on our silicone information page rather than asking you to take our word for it.

β Frequently asked questions
Round or square β does it actually make a difference?
Yes, and in opposite directions. Round has no corners for food to hide in, so it suits a baby doing the scooping. Square has straight sides to push a spoonful up against, which some children find easier, and it stacks flat in the fridge. Our square three-section bowl is the same capacity in that shape.
Will runny food stay in its section?
Mostly, while the bowl is flat. The sections are open at the top, as on every divided bowl, so a thin sauce will migrate if the bowl is tilted or carried at an angle. Nothing with open sections solves that.
Why won't the suction stick?
It needs a smooth, flat, dry surface. Wipe the tray and the base and press down from the middle out. A ridged or textured tray, or bare wood with a grain, will not hold any suction bowl.
Can it really go in the oven?
Yes β oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher, and the same is true of every plate and bowl in our silicone range. Let oven-warmed food stand before serving.
Is there a version with a lid?
Yes. The round bowl with a lid is this bowl plus an airtight lid, for leftovers, nursery and the changing bag.
Does it make a good gift?
A practical one. It is better as part of a bundle with a bib and some cutlery or a plate than on its own.
π² Which bowl is right?
Six bowls. All of them are oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe, so the honest split is depth, divisions, shape and whether you need a lid:
- Round, 3 compartments β this one. 500ml across 300/100/100ml, 21 x 17cm, shallow and cornerless so a spoon reaches in from any angle. The self-feeding choice.
- Square, 3 compartments β the same 300/100/100ml in 18.5 x 15cm and 219g, the lightest divided one. Straight sides to load a spoon against, and it stacks flat in the fridge.
- Round, 3 compartments, with lid β this bowl plus an airtight lid, for nursery and leftovers.
- Square, 3 compartments, with lid β the square one plus a lid. The one for batch cooking and nursery runs.
- Silicone Suction Baby Bowl β 350ml in one section, 8.5cm tall, the deepest, with a raised scoop wall. For porridge, soup and spoon-led meals. Gift boxed.
- Bear Suction Bowl β 400ml, one section, bear-shaped. The one a reluctant eater will sit down for. Gift boxed.
See them all in our silicone baby bowls collection, or pair one with a silicone plate and a bib. Our complete guide to baby suction plates and bowls covers what to look for.
Safety information
Adult supervision recommended at mealtimes. Check the bowl and the suction base before each use and stop using it if the silicone splits, tears or the base comes away. Let oven-warmed food stand before serving.
